Job Opening: Systems Administrator / Java Developer / Compliance Officer / Human Resources Manager / Finance Manager

Intellectual Property Ventures Group (IPVG) has the following job openings:

1. Systems Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Administration & Maintenance
    Primary administrator function, which shall cover administration, operations, and maintenance and others of the following servers:
    1. Corporate Firewall
    2. Domain controller (IPVG/IPC and IPE)
    3. Britain Netwisp Server and AOC Netwisp Server
    4. HRMS
    5. Great Plains
    6. DNS Hosting Accounts (including inventory of all domains)
    7. Postini/Google Apps Hosting Administrator
    8. NAS Back-up Server
    9. Others
  • Secondary administrator function for the following servers
    1. Storage for IPVG/IPC and IPE
  • Internal IP Address Allocation
    • Manage, assign, allocate and control the Internal IP address of IPVG, this shall include those public IP addresses that will be allocated to IPVG
  • Design and Implementation of Internal Applications
    • Plan, design, document and implement new systems and applications as required by IPVG, IPC, IPCV, IPE
  • Support Functions
    • Secondary support to Desktop users and others as needed
    • Provide training to other teams as needed
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for IT requirement as needed
    • Coordination with technology partners for outsourced services
    • Research and development
  • Other Duties -Performs other duties that may be assigned
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Graduate of Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related course

  • Relevant Work Experience: at least 2-3 years experience as System Administrator, System Engineer, Network Engineer or any designation that has responsibility of administering and maintaining servers, firewall, switchers, etc. Experience in system administration of Linux/CentOS/Windows/Other Operating systems servers and has a background in network administration

  • Other Special Preferences: Programming and networking skills, team player, have a good and oral and written communication skill, must be able to provide support to end-users, must be willing to work on shift schedules as needed and to be on call.
2. Java Developer

Requirements:
  • Should be proficient in JAVA Swing, Oracle and Webservice
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
  • Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
3. Corporate Secretary/Compliance Officer

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for corporate housekeeping including, but not limited to, preparation of board of directors and shareholders agendas, notices, minutes and relevant secretary’s certificates, handling of shareholder relations, maintenance of corporate documents including stock and transfer books and coordination with the stock and transfer agent.

  • As compliance officer, acts as alternate corporate information officer, prepares and files all structured and unstructured reports due to the PSE, SEC and monitors and/or prepares other reportorial requirements of various regulatory agencies.

  • Provides legal advice on various operational, corporate and other issues arising out of the day-to-day business of the company and/or its subsidiaries and affiliates.

  • Performs contract management including drafting and reviewing various contracts.
Requirements:
  • Must have practiced law for at least 10 years, with extensive experience in corporate law.
  • Must be familiar with the Securities Regulations Code and its implementing rules and regulations.
  • At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
  • Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
  • Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.
4. Human Resources Manager (for Vietnam BPO operations)

Requirements:
  • Develop Training materials and instruction charts / guides for Telesales, Tele-verification and Collection

  • This item could be done by either the Training person, or the Recruitment person) Developing Aptitude and Voice Quality tests for recruitment

  • (Recruitment) Recruit 200 Telesales staff, 5 collections and 5 customer service staff

  • Be able to create job descriptions, scorecards, reward schemes and performance management programs & Implement motivational and recognition programs

  • Experience in the BPO industry for all positions is a must
5. Finance Manager

Requirements:
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Knowledge and experience in GAAP and cross-border accounting practices (Singapore, US, Vietnam, Hong Kong)
  • Audit experience from any reputable firm (EY, KPMG, PWC)
  • Knowledge and experience in an IT company
  • working knowledge of any accounting software, preferably MS Dynamics, Great Plains, Quickbooks, MYOB.
  • Team player, managed a team of accountants and finance professionals
  • Works independently with minimal supervision
