Job Opening: Social Media Manager - Vanilla Digital

Vanilla Digital (http://vanilladigital.ph) has a job opening for Social Media Manager (with agency experience).

Chosen candidate will provide social media services to clients and undertake a variety of tasks including (but not limited to):
  • Co-ordinating with stakeholders to develop an online marketing strategy 
  • Creating effective and relevant social media campaigns, manage social media adverts 
  • Engaging with existing communities, industry players, and influencers to develop relevant social media content 
  • Overseeing and management of day to day online marketing activities which includes development of effective social media updates, fan & community engagement, internal and external outreach 
  • Moderating, managing, and repurposing user generated content on social media platforms 
  • Building strategic relationships with industry peers, influencers, and community 
  • Acting as an advocate of the client, their community, the brand, and the company 
  • Regularly measure, analyze, and report social media metrics to senior management 
  • Monitoring trends in social media & community building strategies, tools and applications 
Previous experience as a Social Media Manager, Community Manager, or Digital Marketing Specialist is required for this role.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications. Excellent communicator with good written and spoken English skills 
  • Previous experience in working with digital marketing or social media agencies 
  • Available to work 8 hours per day between 8am – 5pm PHT, five days per week (Mon-Fri) 
  • Be available to work remotely from your home or office with access to reliable computing equipment and high speed Internet 
  • Ability to physically meet with senior management, meet and report to clients on a regular basis 
  • Demonstrated skill in sourcing, writing, and managing content 
  • Analytical thinking, common sense, proactivity, reliability, and professionalism 
  • Outgoing, creative, exciting, and extrovert 
  • Comfortable & professional in receiving constructive feedback, good or bad 
  • Be highly computer literate and possess functional knowledge or experience on HTML, photo editing software, MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities:

As a strategic counselor, the candidate will act as a regional coordinator for several clients, and manage teams on program execution. Account Directors are expected to manage projects, balance staff workload, develop and manage budgets, have strong media skills and relationships, be involved in strategic planning and ensure profitability. They are involved in regular account planning meetings as well as new business initiatives.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates must be results oriented, have a solid track record of effective media relations, strong writing, strong organization and acute attention to detail.

Additionally, candidates should have:
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of public relations and/or digital communications experience, with an emphasis on media relations, media training, and product public relations and new business.
  • The ideal candidate will have a PR agency background, and experience with both B-to-B and B-to-C communications.
  • Depth of experience in the technology or consumer practice areas, advanced knowledge of business media and well-developed skills in building and maintaining media relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience executing public relations plans and the ability to draft and implement strategic public relations programs within budget.
  • Ability to provide strategic counsel and leadership to influence and impact client strategy and project management. Candidate should be a strong strategic thinker and planner, with a proven track record in messaging and positioning.
  • Demonstrated success in driving and winning new business, and a passion for securing new client accounts.
  • Excellent writing abilities with extensive experience in all forms of corporate and executive communication, from business media news releases to executive talking points.
  • Experience with new digital media and social networking tactics and program development.

Job Opening: .Net Systems Developer

Success in capturing significant market share regionally has created the need to further expand into additional product lines and geographic areas and a major roll-out of products and services will shortly commence.

Cashsense processes inbound, straight-through remittance transactions and existing legacy procedures and processes need reviewing and improving. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, writing, maintaining and documenting computer applications according to the requirements of new and modified system.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years experience in developing asp.net / c# web applications
  • At least two (2) years experience in a using MS SQL server 2005/2008
  • At least one (1) year experience in a using Crystal Reports, CSS and Javascript
  • Skills in using webservices is preferred
  • Skills in web design is a plus
  • Experienced in with relational databases and multi-tiered application concepts
  • Must be conversant with systems development lifecycle principles
